Meet Ekaterina Fitenko

I was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and raised in Russia, and my own life story has shaped the heart of my legal practice. I understand firsthand how complex, emotional, and life-changing the immigration process can be. This personal experience, combined with years of legal training in both the United States and abroad, allows me to guide my clients with clarity, empathy, and unwavering dedication.

I hold a Joint J.D./LL.M. in International Law from the University of Miami School of Law, where I also trained in the Health Rights Clinic, assisting clients with Temporary Protected Status and other humanitarian forms of relief. I later served with Catholic Legal Services in South Florida, preparing asylum applications, citizenship filings, and supporting individuals facing some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

Before immigrating to the United States, I earned my first law degree in Russia, where I served as a lawyer, department head, and later Vice-Director of a major governmental institution. That experience strengthened my skills in legal analysis, research, negotiation, and client advocacy—skills I now apply to helping clients navigate the U.S. immigration system.

I am a member of the Florida Bar, fluent in English and Russian, and committed to providing my clients with a personal, strategic, and dignified legal experience. From humanitarian protection and family-based immigration to waivers and naturalization, I help clients pursue their immigration goals with confidence and support at every step.

For me, immigration law is not just a practice area—it is a calling rooted in my own journey. I am proud to serve the diverse communities, and I welcome the opportunity to stand beside you on your path forward.
